Ok ….so it has been awhile since I posted. I have actually been working on several projects, enjoying time with my family and friends; and you know what? It’s ok. I decided I needed time to breathe.
The longer I live the more I realize that in the end there are 3 things in life which you must have on a regular basis.
#1 – Love
#2 – Rest
#3 – A Time to breathe
Having “time to breathe” means having that period of uninterrupted time for yourself. It’s having a day or a series of consecutive days where you can do absolutely nothing should you choose to.
Breathing is more than just the action of inhaling and exhaling. It is allowing your mind to dream. Let your thoughts expand to embrace the future. It’s a time to reflect on what you would like to improve on, as well as what you need to let go.
So as we enter into the new season of summer, take a time to breathe. Schedule a day or two or three off from your usual daily routine, and a take time to breathe. It’s the best thing you can do for yourself and for others.
